Chapter 44
Ye Fengyun let out a cold laugh. “This is your last chance. Have Long San come find me. You can’t afford to delay my business.”
“I’m giving you your last chance as well. Kneel down now and kowtow three times, then get out of here. Otherwise, I’ll use all my connections to—”
Before he could finish, a cup of tea splashed toward the executive. Under the force of Ye Fengyun’s formidable inner strength, the soft tea became as sharp as an arrow, piercing through the executive’s clothes and pinning him to the wall. The water arrow even bored several neat holes straight through the wall.
“Who… who on earth are you?” the executive stammered in panic, realizing at last that this was no ordinary man.
Only now did he grasp how dangerous his words had been. If Ye Fengyun had been even slightly less patient, he might have already lost his head.
Ye Fengyun stood up, advancing on the executive step by step.
Terrified, the executive fumbled out his phone, threatening, “Don’t—don’t come any closer, or else—”
Ye Fengyun seized his phone and dialed Long San.
The call went unanswered.
He dialed again.
This time, the call connected, and Long San’s disgruntled voice came through: “What’s so urgent that you have to bother me in the middle of the night? Is the company paying you to sit around doing nothing?”
Ye Fengyun’s voice was ice-cold. “The useless fools you keep around are indeed good for nothing.”
Long San was stunned. “Who are you?”
Ye Fengyun gave a cold snort. “Can’t you even recognize my voice?”

“Young Master?”
“You have ten minutes to get here. If you’re late, you’ll bear the consequences.”
With that, Ye Fengyun hung up and crushed the phone in his hand.
The executive stared in shock. Who was this man, to speak to Long San like that? After all, Long San was a member of the Long family!
At last, the executive understood that when Ye Fengyun had said, “You can’t afford to delay my business,” he hadn’t been boasting.
Though he held a high position, he was still just an employee. When faced with someone of Ye Fengyun’s stature, he truly couldn’t afford to get in the way.
“Sir, I didn’t recognize who you were earlier. Please don’t take offense, I—”
“Enough. Silence,” Ye Fengyun interrupted coldly, casting a sidelong glance at him.
The executive hurriedly clamped his mouth shut, so terrified he dropped to his knees, pressing his forehead to the floor.
Not long after, Long San arrived. When he saw the security guards groaning on the floor, the executive kneeling, and the bespectacled man embedded in the wall, his face showed fear for the first time.
He knew Ye Fengyun well. Unless something truly outrageous had happened, Ye Fengyun would never be so furious.
“Young Master…” Long San called out cautiously.
“Young Master?!” The executive trembled violently.

Long San called him Young Master? Could he be the heir of the Long family—the crown prince himself?
The executive wet himself on the spot.
It was over. He’d actually offended the Long family’s heir. His future was ruined.
Ye Fengyun looked at Long San and, without another word, struck out with his palm. Long San didn’t dodge; he took the blow head-on and stumbled back several steps.
Though Long San’s inner strength was considerable, Ye Fengyun’s was even greater. Even Long San found it hard to bear such a strike.
“Today, Tang Corporation sent people to discuss a partnership. How did you handle it?” Ye Fengyun demanded.
Long San looked at the executive.
The executive glared at the bespectacled man.
The bespectacled man stammered, “I—I gave the partnership to them…”
“Oh? To whom?” Ye Fengyun pressed.
The bespectacled man was so terrified he could barely speak. “T-Tang Shihan.”
Bang!
