Even distant relatives from faraway places had come to join the gathering, but none of the important figures she had invited appeared.
Tang Yilin began to panic. Their family had taken out a loan to book an entire top-tier luxury hotel. If those VIPs didn’t show up, they would be ruined.
“Lei, what’s going on? Why haven’t they come?” Tang Yilin’s voice trembled with near tears.
Lin Lei was equally anxious. “It can’t be. They should have arrived by now.”
At that moment, a new scene appeared on the massive screen of the skyscraper opposite. Countless well-known film stars smiled warmly, facing the camera to extend their blessings from afar.
“Hello, everyone. I’m Li Shangyun. Congratulations to Ms. Tang and Mr. Ye on their wedding,” one voice said.
Tang Yilin’s expression froze in shock.
Li Shangyun? The renowned domestic actor who had ventured into Hollywood? Why would he be sending blessings to Tang Shihan and Ye Fengyun from a distance? On what grounds? What right did they have to receive such an honor from an international star?
But it didn’t end there. Alongside Li Shangyun, other celebrities appeared one after another, offering their congratulations.
