Chapter 103: You Said You’d Come Back to Train—Is This How You Train?
After dinner, Su Zhengguo and his wife were about to return to their room to continue cultivating.
Just then, Su Zhengguo suddenly remembered something and asked, "Yifan, since both of us can cultivate, does that mean your sister can too?"
Upon hearing this, Su Yifan was momentarily stunned.
Of course! Their parents possessed top-grade spiritual roots, and he himself had a special constitution. As his sister, Meng’er might also have spiritual roots—and he felt the chances were quite high.
Previously, while treating his sister, he had been so focused on her illness that he hadn’t considered this.
"I'm not sure yet. Let's wait until Meng’er comes back next time," Su Yifan replied calmly.
"Alright then. Your mother and I will head back to cultivate first," Su Zhengguo said.
"Come on, Honghong."
With that, Su Zhengguo chuckled, took his wife Zhang Hong’s hand, and briskly walked toward their room.
At first, Zhang Hong thought they were simply going back to cultivate, unaware that once inside, they would engage in a passionate embrace.
An hour later.
Su Zhengguo, dressed, sat at the edge of the bed with a smug smile. "Honghong, do you think I was fierce today?"
Zhang Hong rolled over, panting slightly, her cheeks flushed as she teased, "You old rogue! You said we were going to cultivate, and this is how you cultivate?"
Despite her words, she felt a surge of happiness.
After so many years, her husband had never lasted this long before. Last night was just one session, yet now he could last longer. She felt deeply satisfied.
"Honghong, I just wanted to give it a try. Didn’t expect it to work," Su Zhengguo said, lighting a cigarette. "If we keep cultivating like this, I think I can last even longer—at least two more hours."
At this, Zhang Hong slapped his back playfully, scolding, "Three hours? Do you want to kill me? No way. We have to set a rule: no more than two hours each time."
"Come on, Honghong..."
Su Zhengguo was about to negotiate for more time, but then Zhang Hong took a deep breath and said firmly, "Either two hours each time or three times a week. You choose."
Not wanting to argue, Su Zhengguo conceded. "Fine, I'll try to wrap it up in two hours."

Meanwhile, Su Yifan had nothing to do all day and decided to stay home playing Honor of Kings.
He played until nightfall.
"Pentakill!" The triumphant voice announced as Su Yifan successfully destroyed the enemy’s crystal. He then set his phone aside.
Suddenly, the phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID—his sister, Su Meng.
“What could she want? Did something happen at school?” he wondered anxiously.
Without hesitation, he answered the call.
Before he could speak, Su Meng’s voice came through: "Brother, can you help Qingqing?"
Puzzled, Su Yifan asked, "What happened to her?"
"Come over first, and I'll explain. I’ve sent you the location," Su Meng said before hanging up.
Moments later, a location popped up on Su Yifan’s phone.
After more than ten minutes, Su Yifan arrived at the street food stall Meng’er had indicated.
He saw his sister drinking beer with Han Qingqing.
Snatching the cups from both of them, Su Yifan scolded, "You two girls, why are you drinking here of all places?"
Before Su Meng could reply, Han Qingqing, looking slightly intoxicated, said, "Brother Yifan, don’t mind me. Let me drink."
Seeing her in such a state, Su Yifan turned to his sister and asked, "What’s wrong with her?"
Su Meng explained, "Brother, please help Qingqing. Her parents are forcing her to marry someone she doesn’t like."
"But you’re still in school, right? Marriage should be years away," Su Yifan said, surprised it was such a small matter.
Realizing her brother didn’t grasp the seriousness, Su Meng continued, "Brother, you don’t know. Qingqing’s family isn’t well off. Her parents have chosen a wealthy heir from a top family in Yun City. They’ve decided to stop her schooling and make her marry him soon."
Hearing this, even the mild-mannered Su Yifan grew irritated.
What kind of parents were these?
Forcing their daughter, still in college, to marry someone she didn’t love.
Could happiness come from marrying someone you dislike?
And in this day and age, arranging marriages for status—such parents were truly despicable!
"Has Qingqing met this man?" Su Yifan asked.
Su Meng shook her head. "That’s the problem—they haven’t met. That’s why Qingqing is so upset. Brother, how can two people who haven’t even met be happy after marriage?"
She couldn't bear to imagine what life would be like if her best friend went through with this.
If it were happiness, it would be one thing, but with no prior meeting, the chances were almost zero.
How could she feel at ease?
"So, Meng’er, why did you call me here?" Su Yifan asked.
"My sister’s parents and the groom’s side arranged for an engagement tonight. We’re about to go there now," Su Meng said.
"This all happened so suddenly. I didn’t know who else to ask, so I came to you. Brother, please help Qingqing," she pleaded, grabbing his hand and shaking it, tears welling in her eyes.
Seeing his sister like this, Su Yifan’s heart ached. "Don’t worry. Leave this to me. As long as Qingqing doesn’t agree, no one can force her."
Nearby, Han Qingqing looked up, choking on her tears. "Brother Yifan, will you really help me?"
Su Yifan reached out and gently ruffled her head, smiling. "Don’t worry. You’re Meng’er’s best friend, which means you’re like my sister."
"As long as I’m here, no one can force you to marry someone you don’t love—not even your parents."
Hearing this, Han Qingqing was touched, but when Su Yifan called her his sister, a hint of sadness crossed her face.
Could it be that she was only ever meant to be his sister?
Despite these thoughts, she nodded faintly. "Thank you, Brother Yifan."
"No need to be so formal," Su Yifan said affectionately.
She was about the same age as his sister.
The last time he saw her, she was lively and innocent. Now, seeing her so worn down, he couldn’t bear it.
Well, since she was his sister’s close friend, helping her was only natural.
Checking the time, Su Meng said, "It’s almost time. Brother, Qingqing, let’s go."
"Okay," Su Yifan nodded, helping the slightly tipsy Han Qingqing to her feet.
The three of them set off.
Outside the food stall, Su Yifan sent a message on his phone.
Then the three left together.
