Getting things for free is truly satisfying; it’s a pleasure that never gets old.

"Younger brother, tonight, just let yourself go. Don't have any hesitations," Ye Kun said, patting his brother’s shoulder with earnest concern.

Ye Qin took a deep breath. "I know, older brother."

"That's good."

Wu Chi asked curiously, "What’s going on here?"

"My younger brother hasn't been feeling very well lately."

Wu Chi chuckled. "If you're in a bad mood, this is exactly the place to turn things around."

No sooner had Wu Chi finished speaking than a knock sounded at the door.

"Our top courtesan has arrived." Wu Chi looked at Ye Qin with a mischievous grin. Ye Qin, however, appeared a bit shy—after all, Brother Qin was still just a sixteen-year-old boy.

Wu Chi opened the door, and there stood Zi Yan.

The madam walked in, bowing with a fawning expression. "My lords, this is Zi Yan. Please, enjoy this wonderful evening. Zi Yan, be sure to take good care of these three young masters."

"Zi Yan understands."

As the madam backed out, bowing all the way, Wu Chi couldn't help but think: money makes you a king, and lack of it makes you a pauper.

Once the madam left, both Ye Kun and Ye Qin didn't quite know what to say. After all, they were both just kids, and they were at a loss for how to start.

Wu Chi, clearly an expert, knew that if a man hadn't been to a brothel, he’d be the laughingstock of everyone.

"Miss Zi Yan, hello."

Ye Kun and Ye Qin looked at their teacher, utterly bewildered. Wasn't that a bit too cautious? It almost felt like this was his first time, too.

Zi Yan was also a bit surprised, but she leaned forward and smiled. "Greetings, young master."

"Uh... so, what now?"

Ye Kun sighed, then laughed. "Miss Zi Yan, this is my younger brother."

Ye Kun pushed Ye Qin forward. Ye Qin was flustered, having no idea what to do.

"This young master is handsome and carries himself with such distinction. That emerald-green headpiece is truly unique."

Sure enough, whenever anyone saw Brother Qin’s headpiece, they couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.

"Miss Zi Yan, my brother is in low spirits. I’ll have to trouble you to cheer him up."

Zi Yan said in a sweet, melodic voice, "Don't worry, young master. That is my specialty."

With that, she removed her red veil, revealing her face.

It had to be said, she had earned her title as the top courtesan.

First, her skin was truly like polished jade—flawless! Her brows were like willow leaves, framing eyes that were perfectly proportioned; a touch more or a touch less would have ruined the effect. The key, however, was the shape of her face—a delicate oval that balanced stunning beauty with a touch of cuteness. Not bad at all... Brother Qin was in for a treat tonight.

Ye Kun felt that this courtesan was leagues ahead of Ba Wanqing.

"Young master~" Zi Yan called out softly, taking the initiative to hold Ye Qin’s hand.

Ye Qin’s neck turned bright red. Even when he was with Ba Wanqing, they rarely held hands. The sensation of being held by a girl made his heart race wildly, as if a stampede of tigers was charging through his chest.

Zi Yan couldn't help but giggle. "Young master, you’re very nervous."

"Ah, am I...?" Ye Qin tried to maintain his composure.

Zi Yan took both of his hands and placed them on her waist, leaning gently into his embrace. "Young master, your heart is beating so fast."

*You’re the one throwing yourself into my arms! Do you expect Brother Qin’s heart to stop?*

Ye Kun noticed that, compared to his own wife, this Zi Yan was truly proactive. He quickly took a sip of Huadiao wine to steady his nerves. Even Wu Chi, sitting nearby, was stunned. If he had the gold coins, he would definitely call for someone like her... it was just too good to be true.

"Have you never held a girl before, young master?" Zi Yan asked curiously, not caring at all that there were two other people in the room.

"I... I held one once."

"You’re too honest, young master. That’s not a good thing," Zi Yan said, her slender hand resting on Ye Qin’s chest, her tone gentle and warm, just like a listening wife.

Ye Kun thought to himself, *Impressive.* Someone in low spirits needed someone to listen, and Zi Yan played the role of the listener perfectly.

Ye Kun rubbed the bridge of his nose; he shouldn't disturb his brother’s fun. This was only the beginning.

Wu Chi was also getting a bit restless, standing by Ye Kun's side with a wine flagon.

Meanwhile, Ye Qin sat on the stool with the stunning Zi Yan in his lap, whispering softly. If only his brother had a wife like this—how perfect that would be.

"Ye Kun, how have you been these past few years?"

Ye Kun took a sip. "Same as always. But Teacher, why did you leave without saying goodbye back then?"

"Ah, I don't like the feeling of parting. I spend at most a few years in one place. I just wanted to see Taijing, and when the opportunity arises, I’ll leave to see the rest of the East Nether."

"I’d like to see it too," Ye Kun said quietly.

"The East Nether is vast; Taijing is only a small part of it. A young man should see more of the world."

Just as they were talking, they suddenly saw a man walk onto the red stage.

"What’s this for?" Ye Kun asked curiously.

Wu Chi laughed. "Besides drinking flower wine, there are some strange and interesting items auctioned off here. There’s a reason business is so good."

Ye Kun nodded. He wasn't particularly interested in buying things—mostly because he had no money. If he had money, he’d be interested.

The man on the red stage gave a light cough, and the room fell silent.

Ye Kun scanned the private rooms on the upper floors but found nothing unusual.

However, in one of the rooms above, a man stared at Ye Kun’s bald head, his brows knitting together tightly.

"The time has come for this month’s auction! But today, we have a special guest here for the auction!"

Following the man’s teasing words, the crowd began to stir, much to the man's satisfaction.

"The person who is about to appear is someone you never would have imagined. He is the only one who has fought against Daodezi and walked away unscathed—the Silver Man!!!"

Ye Kun was left completely dumbfounded.

Just as Ye Kun was in a daze, a figure descended from above. In that silver armor and red cape, Ye Kun’s expression was one of pure awkwardness.

*Is he imitating me? And the materials for this silver armor are actually better than mine!*

When the Silver Man landed, the entire room fell into a silence so profound that one could hear a pin drop.

The man on stage felt a bit confused; this wasn't the reaction he had expected.

Suddenly, the room erupted into shrieks and cheers, especially from the women, who seemed to be going crazy.

Ye Kun watched the scene, feeling that it was all a bit much. *You all are being way too dramatic.*

Perhaps Ye Kun didn't realize just how famous the Silver Man had become. After all, anyone who could fight Daodezi and survive was a legend.

"That name, 'Silver Man,' is so tacky," Wu Chi muttered.

"..."

"Is it really that tacky?" Ye Kun felt a bit embarrassed.

"I’ve heard plenty of nicknames, but that’s the tackiest one yet."

*Fine,* Ye Kun thought. *At the time, the situation was special, so I just picked one at random.*

Still, that Gold Woman seemed to have it worse—her name was given to her by others.
