Fang Tang stepped out of his quarters with a dark expression. With a flicker of extreme speed, he reached the woman’s tent in an instant.

Seeing her fast asleep in her nightclothes, Fang Tang raised the Great Xia Dragon Sparrow and gave her sharply across the buttocks. The flesh visibly quivered.

“Get up.”

“Ah!”

The woman screamed. When she saw Fang Tang, panic flashed across her face. Hugging the blanket to herself, she stared at him uneasily. “What do you want?”

Fang Tang’s expression remained indifferent. “You climbed through my window in the middle of the night, and you’re asking what I want?”

A flicker of alarm passed through the woman’s eyes. “When did I ever climb through your window?”

Fang Tang laughed abruptly. He seized her by the collar and lifted her up as easily as a chick, then hurled her outside the door.

“There are only two entrances into this dungeon. Besides you and me, do you think anyone else would be climbing through my window?”

Fang Tang folded his arms and looked down at her from above.

The woman curled her lip and said helplessly, “Then what do you want to do now?”

Fang Tang crouched down so that they were eye to eye and said flatly, “Evolution level, second tier, third stage. Sequence 077, Super Shadow Soldier. With that kind of strength, you should be storming the Gate of Evolution in the Cradle World, not wasting such a fine sequence by skulking around in this dungeon as a thief.”

“You...” The woman stared at him in terror, unable to understand how Fang Tang had seen through her hidden cards.

Fang Tang hooked a finger under her chin. “I’ll give you a chance to live. Follow me.”

“Huh?” The woman stared blankly at Fang Tang, not moving a muscle. Yet the shadow beneath her feet began to twitch strangely.

Fang Tang snorted coldly. The Great Xia Dragon Sparrow flashed white in the darkness and plunged deep into the shadow on the ground.

The woman let out a muffled groan, and a thread of blood forced its way from the corner of her mouth. Her face turned the color of paper.

“How did you know?” the woman asked in disbelief.

Fang Tang ignored her, merely shaking his head with a sigh before sweeping the blade across.

Clang!

Unexpectedly, the Great Xia Dragon Sparrow was blocked by a shield.

A layer of fleshy tendrils still clung to the shield, as if it had been torn from some living creature.

“Hm?”

Fang Tang was slightly surprised.

The woman glared at him furiously. “Was it really necessary to try to kill me just because I wanted to steal a little something from you?”

Fang Tang looked at her with amusement. “Just stealing something?”

“W-what else?” The woman lacked confidence.

Fang Tang no longer wanted to tangle with her. He turned the blade and slashed upward. The shield in her hands flew out of her grip.

The woman clutched her wrist in pain. Seeing the blade about to make intimate contact with her neck, she hurriedly shouted, “I can help you make money!”

The Great Xia Dragon Sparrow stopped one inch from the woman’s throat. She sucked in breath after breath.

“Speak.” Fang Tang’s tone was icy, though his eyes were clearly interested.

The woman hurriedly said, “I’ve been to the Cradle World once. There was a lot of junk piled up in that dungeon. I found this shield there. If you bring things like that out to sell, they’ll be very popular here.”

“Do you remember the regional code?” Fang Tang asked.

“The regional code?” The woman looked at Fang Tang in confusion, then suddenly understood. “Yes, yes, I remember!”

Fang Tang nodded and glanced at the pass on her arm. “Come with me in two days.”

“Okay, okay!” The woman had become incomparably docile. “Then what about these next two days...?”

“Stay with me. If what you said proves false, I don’t mind selling you to the dungeon shop. I’m sure that filthy octopus will like you very much, whether for your sequence or as a female slave.”

The corner of Fang Tang’s mouth curved slightly. It looked like a smile, but in the woman’s eyes it was utterly wicked.

A female slave.

For some people, that was just a plaything.

The woman shuddered and grew even more afraid of Fang Tang.

After telling Yueyue to keep an eye on the woman, Fang Tang yawned, lay back down on the bed, and continued sleeping soundly, utterly unconcerned by the woman’s fear and anxiety.

The next day, daylight flooded the dungeon.

Fang Tang got up, washed, ate a simple seafood breakfast, and then took Zhao Xiaoxiao to continue exploring the dungeon.

Zhao Xiaoxiao followed him the whole way. Fang Tang’s image in her heart grew taller and taller, and even more mysterious.

He had finished traversing thirty dungeons in just two hours.

And along the way, the resources had been exceptionally high-grade.

More than a dozen gold chests, more than a dozen blueprint elemental stones, and two platinum chests besides.

So this was what a true master looked like.

No wonder he had risen so quickly.

And she had actually dared to steal from him...

Zhao Xiaoxiao’s fear of Fang Tang deepened further, until she could no longer summon even the slightest thought of resistance.

Because doing so would mean death.

“I’d better just obediently be a tool for now.”

Zhao Xiaoxiao muttered to herself and crouched down to wash Fang Tang’s clothes.

“What did you say?” Fang Tang asked with a frown.

“Huh? I didn’t say anything!”

Zhao Xiaoxiao waved her hands in panic and looked at Fang Tang innocently.

“...”

Fang Tang ignored her and sank into the sofa, idly browsing the public chat logs.

“Boss... the clothes are washed!” Zhao Xiaoxiao said cautiously from the doorway.

“Mm. Wash the bedsheets too.”

Zhao Xiaoxiao: “...”

She felt wronged, but the little one would not cry!

Silently, she took down the bedsheets and soaked them in the basin, crouching in front of it as she stared blankly at the fabric slowly becoming wet.

Suddenly, a long strand of hair caught her attention.

Zhao Xiaoxiao picked up the hair, glanced at her own short hair that only brushed her ears, then looked at Fang Tang’s crew cut, and her eyes flickered.

“So he’s slept with other women too? Looks like he’s not the abstinent type after all. I wonder...”

She eyed her own figure, and a proud smile appeared on her face.

“Since he’s not the abstinent type, then it’ll be easy to get close to him. With my figure, am I afraid I won’t be able to conquer a man?”

As she spoke, she even licked her lips, a sly glint flashing in her eyes. “Then I’ll trick every last thing out of him, not a single item left!”

Her fists clenched tightly with excitement.

All afternoon, Zhao Xiaoxiao busied herself washing and scrubbing, cleaning Fang Tang’s quarters from top to bottom until it looked completely new.

By evening, she tugged at her clothes nervously and said, “Um... can I... can I stay here tonight?”

Fang Tang looked at her and nodded.

After all, he still needed Zhao Xiaoxiao to find that ruin.

Zhao Xiaoxiao let out a cheerful cry and rushed into the bathroom. Not long after, the sound of rushing water came from inside.

Fang Tang kneaded Yueyue’s head and looked through the items in his hand, not feeling that anything was out of place at all.

Zhao Xiaoxiao came out steaming with moisture, bright and lovely, making a special effort to stroll back and forth before Fang Tang’s eyes.

But when she discovered that Fang Tang hadn’t even spared her a glance, she immediately slumped in disappointment and went into the kitchen with a pout to make dinner.

Fang Tang narrowed his eyes and pulled Zhao Xiaoxiao back out, saying lightly, “You don’t need to cook. I’ll do it.”

Zhao Xiaoxiao looked dissatisfied on the surface, but inside she was overjoyed.

So he really is acting just like that. See? He’s already been captured by this young lady’s beauty.

Little did she know, Fang Tang was simply afraid she might tamper with the food.
